Top 10 National News Companies 2016-17 list – Polygon
Posted June 20, 2017 10:09:10The year is about to kick off and the 2016-2017 list of the world’s top national news media companies has just been released.
As the list’s official title indicates, the list is compiled by journalists, bloggers, and other experts to highlight the best national news and information sources in the world.
Among the top ten, CNN stands as the highest-ranked media outlet in the top 10.
It is followed by Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, ABC News, NBC News, CNN, ABC, CBS, and CNN.com.
It is worth noting that this list is not an endorsement of those media outlets.
It has been compiled by a team of editors and journalists from around the world who, in turn, compiled it by consulting experts.
In terms of content, the most recent edition of this list, released last month, showed the US as the dominant media market, followed by Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
The UK is at the bottom of the list, with the top 20 most popular sources of information in the US.
This means that, for the first time, the US remains dominant.
It’s a big reason why this year’s list is so significant.
The list was compiled by the Media Research Center, which is funded by a US-based foundation that supports “a free and open press”.
It was launched in 2015 with the goal of identifying the most influential outlets in the media, while at the same time identifying the sources of their information.
The 2017 list has now been released for the entire world.
In a statement, Media Research said:”The list has the distinction of being the first-ever list of global media market shares that accurately and reliably reflects the power of media markets in terms of their influence on our news consumption and knowledge, and their influence in shaping our political discourse and attitudes.”
