National parks, monuments, cemeteries and beaches are listed.
(CBC)The map shows where the best locations are located, with a few notable exceptions.
While most of the parks, museums and cemeters in Ontario are within walking distance, there are some that are more than an hour away, like the Stoney Creek area in the Greater Toronto Area and the Cascades National Park in Vancouver.
The best places in British Columbia are in the north and west, while the best spots in Alberta are in southern Alberta and the Yukon.
Some of the best-known spots include the Golden Horseshoe in Victoria, the Vancouver Coastal Trail in B.C. and the Whistler Skyline in B to the east.
But the map also includes some places that aren’t well-known in Canada, like Vancouver’s iconic Whistlers Wharf and the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
The map also shows how much the national park is worth in today’s dollars.
The national park in British Colombia was valued at $11.3 billion in 2017, but is now worth $6.7 billion, according to the National Park Service.
